Our Story — From Ministry to Filmmaking, From Filmmaking to Legacy
01 · The Turning Point

I Had to Learn.

I was ordained as a pastor in the United Kingdom in 2001, and years later I was entrusted with the responsibility of serving as General Secretary of Christ Apostolic Church Youth Fellowship, Anosike Region for 7 years.

Working closely with young people confronted me with a practical question:

“How do you empower a generation rather than simply speak to them?”
Graphic Design→Photography→Cameras→Filmmaking

What began as something I needed to learn so that I could empower other people gradually became something much deeper.

“I fell in love with visual storytelling.”

02 · Purpose Becomes Profession

Service Became
a Passion.

My background in ministry taught me to look for the person behind the story. It taught me to listen. It taught me that leadership is about equipping others to discover what they are capable of becoming.

In May 2024, Toluwa Creations Ltd was formed, and my work expanded professionally into cinematography, photography and camera operation, while practically training and empowering others in this same field and searching for every opportunity to support the Church which I was first called to serve.

04 · The Vision — Film School

The Next Chapter...

My long-term vision is to establish a film school in the United Kingdom, where equipping and empowering young people with professional filmmaking skills and Biblical training (Theology) will be the main focus.

Toluwa Films also plans to work with Christian organisations in Ghana, Sierra Leone and Nigeria to reach, support and train young adults who may not have the opportunity or resources to travel to the UK or elsewhere in Europe for professional training.

The school will be a place where young people can develop their talents, tell stories that inspire, transform and bring hope to their communities.
